Inspiration Friday

“The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.”  Gandhi

The woman on the left is my Mom, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Nan Madden.  She’s currently in Bangladesh, working with Rotoplast and a team of medical providers to help people who need plastic surgery – usually very dramatic cases caused by cleft lip/cleft palates or through burns.  The woman next to her suffered facial burns as a teenager and has been living in unimaginable pain for years.

The blog link is full of stories and photos.  It reminds me of the work that so many of you do and plan to do, reaching out and helping others, making this world a better place.

Well done; thanks to all of you for the inspiration that you bring to the world.
