Police Activities LeaguePolice Activities League (PAL) Membership and Community Outreach Coordinator .  Salary: $19.63- $23.41 (depending on experience). Job Type: Part time, year round Location: San Mateo Police Department, 2nd Floor Hours: Monday – Friday, 20 hours a week (4 hours per day, flexible schedule) Close Date: Open until filled.  This position will be responsible for assisting with recruiting and retaining members and their families, and for planning and coordinating programs, community events, outreach, mailings, website and social media communication. Interested candidates should have customer service and multitasking experience, as well as working knowledge of computers and a multi-lined telephone system. The successful candidate will be a motivated, independent, customer service oriented individual. The ideal candidate should possess the skills to complete a variety of clerical tasks, support customer relations and have proficient computer skills of Microsoft software (Word/ Excel/ Outlook). Ravenswood Family Health Center (RFHC) is a nationally recognized nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center that exists for the benefit of low-income families and uninsured residents in and around the East Palo Alto area. RFHC’s mission is to improve the health status of the community we serve by providing high quality, culturally competent primary and preventive health care to people of all ages regardless of insurance, immigration status or ability to pay. They have several job openings, mostly for those with medical backgrounds, but also for a Department Manager (see link for job description).

 

My new red shoesMy New Red Shoes is seeking a Development Associate, Corporate and Foundation Relations, a position that  is responsible for seeking, securing and stewarding funding from corporate and foundation donors.  Under the supervision of the Executive Director and in collaboration with the Development Manager, the Development Associate cultivates and stewards existing and new relationships with corporations and foundations, conducts research to improve knowledge about funder priorities, and develops and implements donor cultivation strategies. The Development Associate also writes and submits grant proposals to corporate and foundation donors for general and programmatic support, and tracks institutional proposal and reporting schedules.  A full job description is HERE.
