Senior Administrative Assistant (Field Services Specialist – Burlingame and San Jose, CA). Monthly Salary Range for external hires not affiliated with CTA is $5,459 – $5,950.
California Teachers Association, a not-for-profit union organization representing public school educators and education support professionals, has immediate openings in our Burlingame, San Jose and San Leandro offices for a dependable, motivated team player to provide office support. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to scheduling/coordinating meetings and travel arrangements; composing/preparing professional correspondence; creating announcements and flyers, working with databases and spreadsheets, answering phones & providing excellent customer service to CTA members. Requires the ability to prioritize multiple projects and coordinate large, complex logistical projects and conferences. Candidate must possess/exhibit excellent strong verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated high level computer and secretarial skills, including Microsoft Office Suites, required. Proficiency in databases with experience in creating & running queries and reports in MS Access is highly preferred. This is not an entry level position; a minimum of 4 years office support experience is required.
