Summary
 
This position will focus on Sunlight Giving, a family foundation that supports local, state and national organizations that provide basic services to low-income families with children ages 0-5. We are looking for a highly skilled professional with a deep commitment to human services to join the team. This position will focus on Sunlight Giving’s health care access and food security grantmaking portfolios, along with other grantmaking work as assigned. This position will require regular travel throughout Sunlight Giving’s 10-county geographic focus.
The Program Officer provides day-to-day management of relationships with applicants and grantees throughout the grant process. The Program Officer performs due diligence on applicant organizations and participates in grantmaking planning, strategy and evaluation. This position is full-time exempt and reports to the Vice President of Program and the Managing Director of Sunlight Giving.

Californians for Justice (CFJ) is a statewide grassroots organization that believes that young people are the leaders we need to create healthy and thriving schools. We are expanding and hiring staff on our Operations team in our Fresno, Long Beach, Oakland, and San Jose offices.
 
Operations and Technology Associate CJ1
 
Summary
Californians for Justice is growing, and we are seeking someone who can take our infrastructure and technology to the next level. The Operations and Technology Associate coordinates Californians for Justice’s technology systems, administration & infrastructure, and office management. They will also provide some support to CFJ’s human resource and finance systems. This is a great opportunity for a self-starting and highly organized person who knows technology to strengthen the infrastructure of a respected social justice organization.
The Operations and Technology Associate is a full time, non-exempt position that will work with all four CFJ regions, report to the Operations and HR Manager, and work with the Senior Operations Director. The position can be located in any of CFJ’s four regional offices – Fresno, Long Beach, Oakland, or San Jose.

Operations and HR Manager CJ2
 
Summary
Californians for Justice is growing, and we are creating a new Operations and HR Manager position to ensure our staff have the skills and support to do their jobs well. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional to strengthen our systems as we expand our staff and implement exciting HR projects. We are seeking an experienced, highly competent, and highly organized team member who is good with both people and systems.
The Operations and HR Manager will manage a wide range of CFJ’s human resource activities, from HR administration, to supporting staff performance, to managing organization-wide processes. They will supervise and support the Operations Associate, who coordinates CFJ’s administrative, infrastructure, and technology systems. They may also supervise a new Events Associate position. The Operations and HR Manager reports to the Senior Operations Director and is full-time and exempt. In all duties and responsibilities, this position exercises discretion and independent judgment. The position can be located in any of CFJ’s four regional offices – Fresno, Long Beach, Oakland, or San Jose.

Peninsula Family Service
Filipino Program Coordinator PFS
 
More than six decades ago, Peninsula Family Service – then known as the Family Service Agency of San Mateo County – was created to strengthen and maintain local families. Over the years, our original staff of two has grown to 150 employees who support participants in four Bay Area counties: San Benito, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, and San Mateo. Together with the help of our board, advisors, donors, volunteers, and partners, we serve nearly 10,000 individuals who need our help overcoming the barriers standing between themselves and a life of opportunity, financial stability, and wellness.
Peninsula Family Service strengthens the community by providing children, families, and older adults the support and tools to realize their full potential and lead healthy, stable lives.
Summary
Coordinate peer counseling services to the Filipino clients. Duties include recruiting Filipino and Tagalog-speaking volunteers to become peer counselors and Filipino clients for peer counseling services.

As a member of UWBA’s Equity Team, this individual will position clients for success by working with UWBA program initiatives, community based organizations, and higher education institutions to develop, deliver, and assess effective programming on an ongoing basis.
