Countdown to May 2018 Graduation!

Library workshops

Our wonderful librarians have devised a series of workshops, many of which may be of interest to you.  The following are the ones offered in the evenings:

Formatting Your Research Paper:  This workshop will go over citation management features of Microsoft Word as well as how to format a document to automatically generate a Table of Contents, a Bibliography, and Footnotes (though the last isn’t required in APA, so is less relevant for our classes, FYI).  Wednesday, November 4, 5-5:30PM

PowerPoint – Designing Effective Presentations.  Tips on designing effective presentations.  Wednesday, November 11, 5-5:30PM

Excel – Introduction and Basic Commands.  Learn how to create a basic spreadsheet and make simple charts and graphs.  Wednesday, November 18, 4:30-5:00PM.

No need to register!  Notice courtesy of Sanjyot Pia Selkirk, our Academic Technology and Instruction Librarian.  (Thanks, Pia!)
