Have you ever considered serving on the Board of Directors for a nonprofit? If yes, you need to apply for the Latino Board Leadership Academy (LBLA). In May, 2015, the Hispanic Foundation graduated the fifth academy and over four years has graduated over 200 fellows, 75% of whom have been appointed to various boards.
In partnership with the Center for Excellence in Nonprofits; CompassPoint; Notre Dame de Namur University ; and the University of Phoenix; our Foundation is pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for our first Latino Board Leadership Academy to be held in San Mateo County.
The LBLA is a comprehensive program designed to recruit, train, and assist in placing Latinos on nonprofit boards whose missions best match their personal interests.

The deadline for applications is 5:00 p.m. (PST) Thursday, July 16, 2015.
