Ravenswood Family Health Center (RFHC) is a nationally recognized nonprofit Federally Qualified Health Center that exists for the benefit of low-income families and uninsured residents in and around the East Palo Alto area. RFHC’s mission is to improve the health status of the community we serve by providing high quality, culturally competent primary and preventive health care to people of all ages regardless of insurance, immigration status or ability to pay. My New Red Shoes is seeking a Development Associate, Corporate and Foundation Relations, a position that is responsible for seeking, securing and stewarding funding from corporate and foundation donors. Under the supervision of the Executive Director and in collaboration with the Development Manager, the Development Associate cultivates and stewards existing and new relationships with corporations and foundations, conducts research to improve knowledge about funder priorities, and develops and implements donor cultivation strategies. The Development Associate also writes and submits grant proposals to corporate and foundation donors for general and programmatic support, and tracks institutional proposal and reporting schedules.
